Land for this project has already been purchased through generous donations ($4500 Cdn./US). The cost of fencing the land has also been raised (Approx. $300 Cdn/US). Remaining costs to make this project a reality include: preparing the transfer title deeds (Approx. $360 Cdn./US), and renovation/construction costs (Approx. $6600). Total remaining project costs are $6960 Cdn/US. If absolutely necessary, these costs could be spread over approximately 2 years. However, it is more practical to purchase all materials to begin the construction phase at once, due to due to rising costs of materials and otherpressing needs in the community. A voluntary team of community leaders will oversee and manage this project. Photos show the general nature of the land. Current structures will be torn down and materials recycled.
